Thank you for choosing us for your consultation. This document sets out some important information that we are required by law to provide to you. This is for your information only and is not a bill. As this includes information about our charges, if someone else will be paying your bill, you may wish to pass a copy of this letter to them. Please note that even if someone else is paying your bill or you have private medical insurance, you are responsible for paying any charges which they do not pay.
Prices vary depending on the clinican you are seeing.
General psychiatric assessment (includes questionnaires, face to face assessment and detailed report): £930-£1500
ADHD Express Clinic Assessment (includes questionnaires to home and school, QB check, cognitive assessment, face to face assessment and detailed report): £2050-£2200
ASD Express Clinic Assessment (includes ADIR, ADOS, questionnaires to home and school, face to face assessment and detailed report) : £3910
ADHD Assessment (following a general psychiatric assessment with MindOf): £1120
ASD Assessment (following a general psychiatric assessment with MindOf): £2910
ASD + ADHD Combined Express Assessment (includes ADOS, ADIR, ADHD and ASD questionnaires to home and school, QB check, Creyos cognitive assessment, face to face assessment and detailed report): £4390
ASD + ADHD Combined Assessment (following a general psychiatric assessment with MindOf): £3900
Psychiatric Follow Up Appointment up to 45 minutes (face to face and video): £380
Psychiatric Phone Call Appointment (20-25 minutes): £275
All psychiatric follow ups are inclusive of a clinic letter following the session. Additional letters for eg: education letters/insurance supporting documents charged at £275. For all additional letters, please provide at least one weeks notice.
Please note that patients returning to see the psychiatrist after more than 18 months since their last appointment will need to book a returning patient appointment (£760) not a regular follow up appointment, to ensure there is sufficient time to complete the assessment.
Following your consultation you may need certain tests (such as blood tests) to help in diagnosing your condition. If the test is undertaken by another clinic or hospital, the fees for those tests will be determined by the clinic or hospital you attend. You will need to contact them directly for more information. If there are any fees which we will charge in relation to any of the tests we advise that you have, we will let you know what those will be. If any other services are required we will provide you with the costs associated. Some tests and treatments can be conducted through MindOf and prices can be found below:
Session with specialist nurse: Initial session - £225, follow up sessions - £150
Session with Psychologist: Initial session - £300, follow up sessions - £200
Specialist speech and Language Assessment: £600
Therapy session with SALT: Initial session - £300, follow up sessions - £200
Qb Check: £480
School Observation: £480
Specialised Questionnaires (ADHD/ASD/General): £130
Online Cognitive Assessment: £130
Professional Meeting: £380
Pharmaco-genomic gene testing available (helps identify the most effective medication with the least side effects specific for you, based on your genetics): £1056
Prescriptions (inc repeat prescriptions): £70 (prescriptions written and requested within an appointment are included in the consultation price. Please allow at least 10 days for all prescription requests)
Medication can be ordered and couriered to your home address. Prices will vary depending on the type of medication and your location and will be an additional charge to the prescription charge. Please contact info@mindof.uk for further information on these prices.
Please note the above prices are subject to a 20% additional fee should the appointment take place during a weekend clinic.
These estimates are correct as at the date of this letter. Fees are due at the time of booking and include a non refundable £200 deposit for psychiatry new patient appointments and £100 for other appointment types. Please provide more than 7 working days notice for cancellation of new patient bookings and 3 working days notice for all other appointment types. Where this is not met, 100% of the appointment fee will be charged. Please note that refunds can take up to 28 days to be processed and appear in your account.
Private Medical Insurance: If you have private medical insurance, please contact your insurer before your consultation, to check the terms of your policy, particularly the level and type of outpatient cover you have, including any reimbursement limits on individual consultation fees. Please note you are responsible for any fees not covered by your insurer. We have consultant recognition with most healthcare insurance companies: e.g. Aviva, Cigna, Pru Health, WPA. Please contact 0207 118 0696 to find out if we are covered by your insurance company. Appointments are required to be paid by you in advance and we will provide a receipt which you can pass on to your insurance company to reimburse your fees. Please check with your insurer prior to booking that they will reimburse your fees. Please note we do not accept BUPA or AXA.
